Come experience a trek of a lifetime and explore the Columbine-Hondo Wilderness in the most intimate way possible…backpacking! 
Hike the canyons following rushing waters, and climb above timberline to peaks overlooking the entire Carson National Forest and for miles beyond. Prepared to be awe struck, amazed, and humbled by a challenge that offers a reward that really has to be experienced to be understood.
From the moment you leave the trailhead, to the last steps off the trail, your guide will be there not only to keep you safe and on the right path, but to teach and to enhance your entire experience as a whole. Our guides are trained in first aid, and have a vast knowledge of the area where you will enjoy your adventure. We all hold a passion for these mountains and look forward to the privilege of showing you their secrets!
Prices are $275 a day, per person, with a minimum of 2 people per trip, with a discounted rate of $250/day offered for 4 or more people, the last day of the trip will be prorated to reflect time on the trail. Food is supplied, and essential gear is provided (backpack, sleep system, tent, trekking poles, and stove), through our partnership with Taos Mountain Outfitters, guests must provide their own personal gear (rain gear, hiking boots, toiletries, water bottle, wool socks, etc.)
